What made you want to join a David Bowie
Tribute Band?
I really wanted to get a band together (for the
sake of the bathroom walls) and play the music
that I love. After a couple of years of false starts
it finally started to come together in December
2004.
What is your favourite David Bowie song?
There's so many to choose from. I would say
'Ashes To Ashes' for me is the quintessential
Bowie song. It seems to sum him up as an
artist.
What is your previous experience?
I started off performing at open mic nights in Cardiff, and then London, performing my own songs and some choice Bowie covers. I've collaborated on a few other things but this is my first band.
What other music do you enjoy?
I grew up on Guns N' Roses, but Bowie turned me onto related artists such as Iggy Pop and Lou Reed. Also enjoy lots of 60's stuff - Beatles, Stones, Doors, Kinks.
