Firstly the band would like to welcome our guitarists newly born son, Oliver to the world. Mum and Dad think he rocks!
Continuing on the rocking theme, The Thin White Dukes have been locked away in their studio and have almost completed mixing 12 new classic tracks for your approval. We shall keep you informed when the final layer of polish has been applied. Our aim was to see how close we could get to the originals using our live setup without any tricks or sampling. (We believe that to be cheating) We all hope that you will like them enough to come and hear them played live. Bowie Rocks - Simples!
Next Gig,
Thanks for all your support over our recent gigs. We are continually amazed and amused with your encounters of the man himself. The latest was from the daughter of a car dealership owner in Bromley who sold Bowie a banger back in the late 60's! I replied that he was always crashing the same car! Which was met with a blank look!
The TWD are having a small break till Novemember whilst our guitarist goes off to have his first baby.
We shall see you next at The Railway in Bromley - North on the 28th Nov.

10.02.09 Gig Review.
It seems that the people of Hove have cottoned on to the great bands that are frequenting the Portland these days. By the time our guitarist struck his first chord the venue was full to capacity. Approximately 200 people kept the bar staff and dance floor busy all night. Our new singer Dave was nothing short of genius and did the Band and Bowie himself proud. We'd like to thank all that came down to support us and hope we shall see you again when we come back on the 11th July.
